In our pro shop the Bear Lights Out has been an excellent selling bow. When a customer asks what we recommend for a bow that does not cost a lot our salesman almost alway show them the Lights Out first. The reason we are so fond of the Lights Out bow is that it offers a whole lot of performance in an inexpensive package. The draw cycle is smooth (the cam is the exact same one as on the much more expensive Truth II) and it is shock free and quiet when shot. (it is designed with short, parrelel limbs just like much more expensive bows) The Lights Out does lack the arrow speed of the high end bows, however it has plenty of speed that the difference will not be noticed when shooting 25 yards or closer.(the range at which almost all game animals are taken)
