Hoyt Carbon Element


The Carbon Element is Hoyt's second offering of a bow featuring a carbon riser. Along with a new carbon riser design comes a new and better price. The 2010 Carbon Matrix bow retailed for 1600 dollars, the 2011 Carbon Element retails for 1200 dollars. The risers on both bows share distinctive interlocking carbon "tubes" that are unmistakable as any other bow. Although the riser on the Carbon Element is shorter then that of its predecessor it is clear that the real cost savings between the two bows is Hoyt's ability to harness the power of scale through mass production of carbon risers. Last year the Carbon Matrix was limited in production numbers, this year Hoyt Archery claims to be able to produce as many Carbon Element bows as are demanded.
